Wrap Over-skirt (2025)
Suri Alpaca-silk yarn, suri-huacaya alpaca yarn, unlabeled second-hand yarn scraps, and glass beads

I crocheted this wrap skirt to be worn over clothing as a pop of bright colors and unique textures. I was inspired by the various types of yarn to use crochet stitches that would bring out the unique textures of each fiber and contrast the other materials in the garment. With this piece, I experimented with crocheting glass beads into the work, adding a reflective element to the fabric.
